The Brits have slammed a pub selling sausage rolls at £ 7.50 each, calling it a “scam” to cost more than the national minimum wage for under-21s.

Puff pastry wrapped meat is a popular delicacy for people in the UK.

But that particular sausage roll sold in an alcoholic has certainly left Brits with a bad taste in their mouths.

In a shot posted on the @NocontextBrits Twitter account, there was a black sign on the counter advertising the tasty pork delicacy.

Still, it’s not a deal like the much-loved versions found on Greggs’ hot counter.

With an arrow pointing to the location of the expensive meal, the sign read: ‘Sausage rolls, £ 7.50 each’.

One eagle-eyed user noted that the sausage roll costs more than the national minimum hourly wage for children under 21 £ 6.83.

As puff pastry has a special place in the hearts of many Brits, people were quite shocked by the price tag attached to the bite.

One person commented: “£ 7.50 ?? Is it expensive or am I just from Yorkshire?

Another user added: “Damn. Are they about 8 feet long? I would expect to eat the leftover sausage roll with every meal for a week for this price.

While a third person said, “Better be as long as my leg for that price.”

Someone else laughed: “Are they gold plated?”

Meanwhile, a fifth roars: “For me it’s a scam!”

Greggs also had something to say about the price of the sausage roll, writing, “Hi Greggs is crying. Good.”

The Brits were not only pissed about the price of pub sausage rolls, but luckily they laughed a lot amidst the gloom of rising food prices.

One guy went viral on Facebook after traveling three hours to Liam Gallagher’s Knebworth concert in what he thought was a camping chair.

But unfortunately, when he got there, he realized he had accidentally brought the clothesline.

And some dirty-minded Brits have spotted a very nasty detail on the bottom of a £ 20 note.
