More than 150 of Britain’s best-loved celebrities and public figures traveled by Jubilee Pageant double-decker bus through the streets of London to commemorate each decade of the Queen’s 70-year reign.

To mark the final day of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations, some of the UK’s biggest stars gathered for an epic London neighborhood party on Sunday 5th June.

And it’s fair to say that the festive celebrations got off to a good start, as model Kate Moss, TV presenter Holly Willoughby, actor Idris Elba and hit singer Sir Cliff Richard were among the many famous faces seen on convertible buses.

The colorful vehicles were adorned with famous images and slogans from each decade, including ‘Groovy’ and ‘Girl Power’ from the 1970s, popularized by British pop icons The Spice Girls in the 1990s.



Models Kate Moss and Patsy Kensit took part in the Jubilee parade on the streets of London.

The infamous 47-year-old model looked extremely patriotic after being photographed in a Vivienne Westwood Union Jack blazer while celebrating alongside Naomi Campbell, Patsy Kensit, Phoebe Dynevor of Bridgerton and celebrity makeup guru Charlotte Tilbury at the top of the vehicle embellished in the 90s.

Standing proudly at the helm of the 1950s bus was Sir Cliff Richard, who performed one of his killer hits alongside Chris Eubank, Katherine Jenkins and Bonnie Langford, which was decorated with green and purple flowers.

Kate Garraway, Alan Titchmarsh, William Roach and Basil Brush of Coronation Street greeted the adoring crowd from the top of the 1960s bus that featured an orange and purple psychedelic floral pattern.



Basil Brush and William Roach were also seen greeting the crowd.

The 1970s bus saw Shirley Ballas, Angela Rippon, Heather Small, Emmerdale star Patrick Mower and Lee Make parading through the capital in the spectacular £ 15 million parade.

Meanwhile, TV host Timmy Mallett, wearing a Union Jack cap, waved and smiled at the big crowd along with Pudsey Bear, Gary Lineker, Ruth Langsford and Tony Hadley on the 1980s bus.

Each bus saw actors, presenters, sports stars and singers parade through London from the top of the buses, while a fleet of over 200 classic vehicles, including Robin Reliant and Del Boy’s James Bond cars, followed.



The parade was also attended by Rylan Clark, Holly Willoughby and Nicole Scherzinger.

Over 10,000 people took part in the staging of the carnival route with an additional cast of 6,000 artists who led the way from House Guards, along Whitehall to Admiralty Arch and along The Mall to Buckingham Palace.

The long route echoes Her Majesty’s Coronation Procession that swept through the heart of London in 1953.

It comes after the Queen took to the Buckingham Palace balcony on Sunday when she made her first public appearance since the start of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations on Thursday 2 June.

His Royal Highness, 96, was greeted with cheers of support from the thousands of onlookers who lined the mall below, while Prince Charles, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince George helped scale the monarch’s balcony. with the longest reign in Great Britain. .
