Let’s take a look at what Marvel showed in the first Thunderbolts trailer

A month ago, Marvel revealed the first Thunderbolts teaser behind closed doors at D23.

And now, without much fanfare, it has released a full-fledged trailer, drawing nearly 10 million viewers and sparking heated debate online.

The three-minute video was full of jokes and action, but more importantly, it showed fans how disparate superheroes (if you can even call them that) would come together as one team, and who the villain would be.

As many understood from the first seconds, Bob will probably embody it.

So sweet, so innocent, and so invulnerable to the bullets of a whole squad of heavily armed men. This is the first look at the Sentry in the cinematic universe, but his transformation remained behind the scenes.

It’s not the Lightning Strikes hunting him (at least not at first), but someone has brought them all face to face.

Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Red Guardian (David Harbour), US Agent (Wyatt Russell), Illusive Man (Hannah John-Kamen) and Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko).

WHO? The obvious suspect is Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, who bought Avengers Tower. She will likely be the main antagonist in the plot.

And of course, Bucky Barnes follows close behind, who, like his ‘colleagues’, doesn’t live the best life and washes his robot arm in the dishwasher.

If you look at the chase in the desert, it seems that the Winter Soldier has been ordered to take out each of the five. But later, by his own free will or not, he will join them.

After all, they’re all going to Fontaine together, and judging by the expressions on their faces, the conversation won’t be pleasant.

As for the asterisk above the original title of the film Thunderbolts*, the makers haven’t thought to reveal its secret yet.

The premiere is scheduled for May 2, 2025.
