Princess Arriana Theresa de Hohenlohe has celebrated her 50th birthday with a distinguished gathering in Madrid, using the anniversary to signal her intention to establish her residence in Spain more frequently.
The aristocrat marked her milestone birthday in November 2025 with a family reunion in the historic Austrias neighborhood of the Spanish capital. The gathering took place in the mansion of the late Ira de Fürstenberg, the first wife of Arriana's father, and served to demonstrate the ongoing unity of the family dynasty as Arriana seeks to strengthen her ties to her homeland.
Arriana represents the most reserved branch of one of Europe's most influential and cosmopolitan aristocratic families. She is the eldest daughter from the second marriage of Prince Alfonso de Hohenlohe, the visionary creator of golden Marbella and the legendary Marbella Club, and British actress Jackie Lane.
Career in New York and Life in Florida
After completing her training, Arriana began her professional career in New York within fashion and communications, working in public relations alongside Vanessa Bismarck. Her childhood roots in Marbella returned to the spotlight in 2001 during her lavish wedding to American billionaire Dixon Boardman, the founder of investment fund Optima Fund Management.
Despite a 30-year age gap, the couple established a solid life together in the exclusive enclave of Palm Beach, Florida. In Palm Beach, Arriana pursues a devotion to horse riding while maintaining an active social schedule alongside her husband and their daughter, Olympia.
A Family Dynasty Across Europe
Arriana serves as a central link connecting the various marriages and relationships of her father. Her half-brother Hubertus de Hohenlohe, born to Prince Alfonso and Ira de Fürstenberg, acted as main host for her birthday celebration in Madrid alongside his wife Simona. The family lineage also includes the late Kiko de Hohenlohe, the second son of Alfonso and Ira, who focused on his mother's high jewelry projects until his tragic death in Thailand in 2006.
Completing the family line is her younger half-sister Desirée de Hohenlohe, born in 1980 to Prince Alfonso and Swiss model Heidi Balzer. Desirée achieved international success as a children's fashion designer with the brand Les Petites Abeilles, married Count Thibault d'Ursel in Ronda before later divorcing, and currently works at the Geneva Opera.
