Nicole Scherzinger has revealed painful leg burns from a boiling water accident an hour before performing on stage in Düsseldorf, Germany. The 48-year-old singer shared updates showing the scars on her leg more than a week after the incident occurred.

Despite suffering severe burns and blisters, the Pussycat Dolls vocalist insisted that the show had to go on. She continued with the band's scheduled performances, traveling next to Ireland to take the stage in Dublin.

Stage recovery and medical guidance

Scherzinger explained that the accident happened in her dressing room shortly before she was set to entertain thousands of fans. 'Nothing like boiling water falling on your leg an hour before your set - but the show must go on,' the singer wrote.

She expressed her gratitude to the German audience who cheered her through the performance despite her physical discomfort. 'Thanks Düsseldorf for keeping me going. See you soon Amsterdam,' Scherzinger added in her message.

The singer had previously shared an image of the raw burns and blisters a day after the accident took place. Despite the painful injuries down her leg, Scherzinger remained determined not to let the accident derail the group's ongoing tour.

Medical experts from the National Health Service in the United Kingdom advise specific first-aid steps for severe thermal injuries. In the event of a burn, the NHS recommends immediately cooling the affected area under cool running water for 20 minutes.

The health service also advises removing any tight clothing or jewellery near the injured skin before tissue swelling begins. Scherzinger followed proper care routines while continuing to travel with her tour crew across Europe.

Dublin performance and band reunion

On Monday night, Scherzinger joined her Pussycat Dolls bandmates Ashley Roberts and Kimberly Wyatt on stage in Dublin, Ireland. The show formed part of the UK and Ireland leg of their PCD Forever reunion tour.

During Monday's gig, Nicole showed no sign of strain as she drank a pint of Guinness on stage with Ashley and Kimberly in between performing their hits

During the concert, Scherzinger showed no signs of physical strain while singing and dancing through the group's energetic set list. She even drank a pint of Guinness on stage alongside Roberts and Wyatt in between performing their major hit songs.

Guinness is a world-famous dark stout brewed at the historic St. James's Gate Brewery in Dublin. The group celebrated their return to the Irish capital by sipping the traditional beverage in front of thousands of cheering fans.

The Pussycat Dolls originally announced their musical comeback in March after several years apart. They launched their return alongside their first new single in six years, titled Club Song, which was produced and co-written by American songwriter Mike Sabath.

The group was formed as a dance troupe in Los Angeles, California, by choreographer Robin Antin before turning into a pop group. Scherzinger served as the lead vocalist, with Roberts and Wyatt performing as key dancers and backing vocalists during their commercial peak in the 2000s.

North American tour cancellation

The PCD Forever tour officially kicked off in Copenhagen, Denmark, in September. The trio then performed a series of shows across major European cities, including Paris and Warsaw, before moving on to venues across the United Kingdom and Ireland.

However, the comeback has faced significant setbacks behind the scenes. Last month, the group was forced to scrap the entire North American leg of their tour following dismal ticket sales across venues in the United States and Canada.

The band had originally planned an ambitious 53-date global tour spanning North America, Europe, and the UK. But organizers were forced to pull the plug on 33 scheduled dates in the US and Canada after many arenas remained 80 per cent empty.

Even after promoters slashed seat prices to just $30, ticket demand failed to recover. The decision to cancel the North American tour came just one month before the group was set to perform their opening US show in Palm Desert, California, on June 5.

The band released an official statement on Instagram to address their fans regarding the sudden cancellations. 'When we announced the PCD FOREVER Tour, we hoped to bring the show to fans across the world,' the group stated.

'After taking an honest look at the North American run, we've made the difficult and heartbreaking decision to cancel all but one of the North America dates,' the statement continued.

European dates and group controversy

The group confirmed that their European schedule would proceed without interruption. 'Our UK and European dates are still moving forward as planned, and the response has been incredible, with several shows already sold out,' the band stated.

'We are putting everything into making this show a true celebration of the music and the memories, for the fans who have been with us from the beginning and those discovering us for the first time,' they added. 'We're working hard to create the kind of show we've always dreamed of bringing to you. We cannot wait to bring this reunion to Europe and make these nights unforgettable.'

Ticketing agencies Ticketmaster and AXS informed fans who bought tickets directly that full refunds would be issued automatically. Fans who purchased tickets through third-party resellers were advised to contact their original point of purchase to request their money back.

The reunion has also been overshadowed by internal group disputes. The current tour lineup excludes three founding members of the original group: Carmit Bachar, Jessica Sutta, and Melody Thornton.

Both Bachar and Sutta stated publicly that they were blindsided by the reunion announcement and were never invited to join the tour. Sutta went as far as to describe the three-member reunion as a 'cash grab' during subsequent public comments.

Despite the controversy and her painful injuries, Scherzinger has maintained her focus on the European shows. The PCD Forever tour continues with upcoming dates scheduled across Europe, including a planned stop in Amsterdam.
