Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul has sold his historic Los Angeles mansion for $7.495 million after the property spent more than a year on the market.
The 47-year-old actor, who was born in Emmett, Idaho, originally listed the residence, known as the Seyler House, in July 2025 for around $10 million, according to real estate details reported by TMZ. After the house remained unsold, Paul slashed the asking price to $8.2 million in January before accepting $7.495 million to close the deal.

The property, situated in the Los Feliz neighborhood near Griffith Park, has a long history of high-profile celebrity occupants. Previous residents include actors Robert Pattinson, Noah Wyle, Jim Parsons, the late Tim Curry, and basketball legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
Los Feliz is a historic hillside neighborhood in central Los Angeles known for its classic architecture, quiet residential streets, and proximity to Griffith Park, one of the largest urban parklands in North America.
Built in 1922, the 4,026-square-foot residence is set on a gated property spanning almost 1.5 acres. The house was designed by architect Stiles O. Clements, a prominent figure in 20th-century Southern California architecture, with interior renovations completed by the Los Angeles studio Commune Design. The interior features exposed ceiling beams leading out to surrounding patios and terraces.

Historic architecture and luxury amenities
Inside, the home features three bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms. The floor plan includes a dedicated media room, a card room, and a guest bedroom. A spacious kitchen leads directly to an outdoor dining patio adjacent to a garden.
The primary suite is built with a private bath, a large dressing area, and a balcony. Outside, the grounds feature a swimming pool, a cold plunge, an outdoor fireplace, a fire pit, and a koi pond, offering panoramic views of Los Angeles.
In a statement released to People magazine last year, Paul reflected on his time at the property, saying the home "has been a safe haven for my family and we feel so lucky to have experienced so much life here over the years." He added, "We will forever hold this home and its history close to our hearts."

Relocation to Paris following Los Angeles wildfires
The property sale coincides with Paul's decision to relocate his family to Europe. The Emmy-winning star told The Daily Mail last November that he and his family moved to Paris in the wake of the January 2025 fires in Pacific Palisades.
"When the fires happened in LA, we just knew that we were done with LA, so we sold our house in LA and moved to Paris," Paul said. "Paris is awesome."
Paul and his wife, Lauren Parsekian, share two children: eight-year-old daughter Story Annabelle and four-year-old son Ryden Caspian. He explained that he and his spouse "always dreamt of doing a year abroad" and "went out there for the kiddos," adding that they "always wanted to be around a completely different culture."

Career background and Breaking Bad legacy
Paul achieved international acclaim for his portrayal of Jesse Pinkman on the hit television series Breaking Bad, starring alongside Bryan Cranston. The series ran from 2008 until 2013, earning Paul three Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.
Created by Vince Gilligan, Breaking Bad tells the story of a high school chemistry teacher who turns to manufacturing methamphetamine alongside his former student, becoming one of the most celebrated television dramas of the 21st century.

The Daily Mail reached out to representatives for Paul for further comment on the sale, but no additional statements were provided. Paul and his family remain settled in Paris.
