The hit series is back.
The series “Trigger” with Maxim Matveev in the role of a psychologist using shock therapy methods is one of the most popular Russian projects.
It was almost reviewed on Kinopoisk 1.1 million people, who gave him a high average score – 8.5. The popularity of ‘Trigger’ is so enormous that the series has already been taken over by Channel One 23rd place in the list of the best multi-part projects in history according to KP.
It is clear that the channel’s general manager, Konstantin Ernst, really does not want to close this project.
Trigger was renewed for a third season last year, so the series won’t return until September.
Fans will be surprised, but the writers have decided to leave out the most important part of the story in the upcoming season: psychologist Artem Streletsky will no longer treat patients.
Yes, Streletsky himself becomes a victim of shock therapy and leaves Moscow for a vacation on the coast to get rid of mental wounds. In the atmosphere of heaven on earth, Streletsky will begin to put together his personality and at the same time meet true love.
Of course, not all fans liked the writers’ approach. It was the original stories of Streletsky’s patients that made “Trigger” a hit, and without shock therapy, the series would certainly not be as interesting to watch.
Perhaps the show’s writers took this step for one reason only: they wanted to make Trigger’s third season its last.
One thing is good: the third season of “Trigger” will be released very soon. The first episode of the new chapter of Streletsky’s story will be shown on September 19, 2024.
