And the old woman gets into trouble.
Leonardo DiCaprio has appeared in over 59 films. But he has publicly named only one of his works as his favorite, with director Martin Scorsese. Leo’s favorite film is “The Aviator.” It’s hard to argue with the actor’s affection for the film; this wistful masterpiece remains one of the most underrated creations of the bunch and arguably showcases DiCaprio’s best film performance. Despite the fact that the actor was still “green” and very young at the time of filming.
DiCaprio admitted he loved “The Aviator” more than any other in a 2012 red carpet interview, noting, “If I had to choose, it would probably be ‘The Aviator,’ playing Howard Hughes.
The actor also continued: “It’s a different set of circumstances where you can say to yourself, ‘You know, one day I’m going to play this character,’ and then you can develop it. And I got to develop it for over eight years, and then the great Martin Scorsese got to direct me in that. So that’s probably what I’m most proud of.”

Critics, however, have some legitimate complaints about the masterpiece. The film received eleven Oscars. However, it was criticized. And here’s why. For Hughes’ physical and mental decline that lasted too long. They say it didn’t seem very close to reality, and that it slowed down the plot. However, the argument was drowned in a sea of praise.
