From the problems of the penitentiary system to banal gaps in logic.
The debate over the significance of Harry Potter adaptations for modern cinema continues to this day. And while fans of the story about the boy who lived blindly defend their idol on social networks, haters note mistakes that even JK Rowling could hardly explain.

Already in the first hour of ‘The Philosopher’s Stone’ you can widen your eyes in amazement more than once. Freshmen learn defense against dark forces, potions, the history of magic and much more, but is science really not necessary at their age? What about the humanities? Or can the school curriculum be ‘memorized’ with the help of magic? Can we do the same with fortune telling then, eh?
The main problem of the “Chamber of Secrets” can be safely called Goldsmith Lockhart – Albus Dumbledore knows how to choose new teachers. One of the most powerful wizards in history repeatedly invited dubious characters to play an important role at Hogwarts – and then everyone wondered why Potter and his friends were in trouble.
Azkaban is the only prison in the magical Potter universe, but… why? The same detention conditions for owners of dangerous animals and serial killers are not serious. The same goes for the Triwizard Tournament in Order of the Phoenix. Why does he need spectators? There is no big screen broadcast; those present at the lake or the labyrinth literally see nothing. Entertainment is at zero.
The legendary Night Knight bus could reach speeds of up to 7,000 km per hour. But then why are beds installed in the cabin? You can reach anywhere in the world within minutes. Another hole in the logic: for controlling consciousness, “Imperio” ends up in Azkaban, but love potions, which also affect the will, can be purchased for free. Why is that?
Why does Voldemort almost always only attack Hogwarts in general or Potter in particular at the end of the school year? Afraid of disrupting his preparation for exams? What a thoughtful killer!
There are no fewer questions about the logic of the first episode of the second season of “House of the Dragon”. Not everyone can explain the ending in censored words.
