Skins actress Megan Preston looks unrecognizable in a series of uncovered bodybuilding snaps.

The actress, who played Katie Fitch in seasons three and four of the Channel 4 drama, revealed to her fans on Instagram that she decided to enter a bodybuilding contest while working as a nanny.

His career change came six years after his appearance in the hit drama and explained how difficult the process of becoming a bodybuilder was.

She recently shared a selection of snaps on the social media platform that showcase her stunning transformation.

Megan told fans: “Six years ago today. Strength training remains one of the things I am most proud of and I give my hat to anyone who does it along with a daily job.

She added: “I was babysitting at the time (imagine picking up your kids from school like that) and it was incredibly difficult to do both at the same time.

“There are no shortcuts to bodybuilding and it doesn’t matter who you know or how rich your parents are, if you don’t put in the effort you won’t get results and that’s what I liked.”

Speaking candidly, he talked about the downsides of his experience, including how “misunderstood” bodybuilding is and how “weak” he was.

Megan continued: “What I didn’t like is the fact that most of the people who have never competed misunderstand the industry.

“People thought I was the strongest during the peak of weakness just because I was the most broken, but in reality I was perhaps the weakest I had been in years, EXHAUSTED, dehydrated and probably a nightmare.”

The Channel 4 star, who also starred in Silent Witness and Holby City, would like to continue acting again, but said she would need to get in shape.

Megan appeared in Skins alongside her twin Kathryn, who played Emily Fitch.

Megan has since also appeared in The Meeting Place, Pete’s Kingdom, Shortcuts to Hell: Volume 1, Body Fixers, The Verge and Sleeping Rough.

Most recently, she starred in a comedy called $ tripped, which is based on the experiences of four strippers working after the pandemic.
