“I’m starting to feel sick”: These Hollywood stars never watch movies in which they star

Despite having great careers and winning countless awards, many celebrities can’t bear the thought of seeing themselves on screen. Tom Hanks, Adam Driver, Jared Leto and many other actors will agree to record their own work only at gunpoint, and everyone has very different reasons for that.

In an interview with Seth Meyers, who starred in Star Wars, Adam Driver admitted that he was never a fan of watching his own films because he was used to theatrical stages and not film sets. At the same time, for the sake of “The Force Awakens” the actor still made an exception:

“You stand in front of the screen and they say, ‘Trust us. Your lightsaber works… There’s room behind you. This looks really cool.”

Tom Hanks, despite starring in some of Hollywood’s most iconic films, hasn’t seen much of his previous work, including hits like Forrest Gump, Philadelphia and Cast Away. The actor does not want to see his own mistakes on the screen and knows that nothing good awaits him there.

Reese Witherspoon insists she has a special form of amnesia: she completely forgets all the films, even the most successful ones, in which she stars. Al Pacino, in turn, calls each of his projects the past, to which there is no reason to return.

However, Jared Leto turns his nose up at his works for another reason: they simply don’t pique his interest, because he already knows the outcome before he presses play. Well, Megan Fox completely blames her body for everything, which seems to be allergic to the busty beauty’s films.
