Lenny Hochstein has filed a defamation suit against his estranged wife Lisa Hochstein.
The “Real Housewives of Miami” alum, 57, filed the lawsuit after the 41-year-old reality star posted a photo of a bruise on her arm and implied he abused her.
According to court documents obtained by DailyMail.com, Lenny filed a civil lawsuit on Friday seeking more than $50,000 in damages and legal fees.
In the lawsuit, Lenny denies the allegations of abuse and claims Lisa suffered the bruise after “losing her balance” while walking up the stairs while they were arguing.

The 57-year-old “Real Housewives of Miami” alum filed the lawsuit after the 41-year-old reality star posted a photo of a bruise on her arm and suggested he abused her.
“It was because of that [Lisa] As always, there was shouting and swearing [Lenny] when he came home from work, as she did almost every day, and told him that he never did anything right, so [Lenny] tried to leave and went up the stairs and [Lisa] continued [him] walked backwards up the stairs so she could keep screaming [his] face and [she] lost her balance and fell down a flight of stairs,” the filing states.
‘[Lisa’s] Lies about abuse are no surprise [Lenny] as [Lisa] publicly declared that she must take revenge [her ex] for what [Lisa] Demands are harassment,” the document continues.
‘Still [Lenny] is not intimidating [Lisa] but instead represents the truth [Lisa] Don’t like.’
Lenny also released a statement about the situation in which he denounces domestic violence.
“I am against all forms of violence, especially against women.” Domestic violence in intimidating relationships is a serious problem in our society and its victims deserve protection and a safe space to express themselves.
“Unfortunately, Lisa has made it her mission to discredit and ridicule real victims of domestic violence by posting photos of a self-inflicted bruise and claiming I was responsible.”
“I have hired a lawyer and filed a lawsuit to protect myself from this defamation. “A highly credible forensic pathologist has already investigated the case and confirmed that Lisa did not sustain the bruise as a result of an alleged violent altercation not.”
In the documents, Lenny also accuses Lisa of cheating on him with her current boyfriend, Jody Glidden, calling her the “real ‘house avenger’ of Miami.”

Last week he denied the claims and insisted he had never physically abused his estranged wife “or any other woman in my life”.
The lawsuit comes just days after Lisa shared a photo on her Instagram story with a bruise on her arm and a scathing caption.
“I didn’t want to share it. But I have no choice,” she captioned the photo.
“I am being threatened and harassed by Lenny through the legal system and ‘others’ and it has to stop.”
“It’s been almost two weeks since last season. “Maybe you got that bruise when I told the women on the show about the divorce.”
Lenny denied abusing his estranged wife and, in a statement shared exclusively with DailyMail.com, claimed Lisa suffered the bruise after falling down a flight of stairs in their home.
Lenny, who has been embroiled in an ugly divorce from Lisa for over a year, also insisted he has never physically abused his estranged wife “or any other woman in my life”.
“When I tried to go upstairs, she walked in before me. For some reason she decided to walk backwards up the stairs so she could keep yelling in my face.”

This is not the first time that allegations of physical abuse have come to light during the couple’s bitter divorce proceedings.
In previous court documents, Lenny accused Lisa of pushing and verbally attacking him during an argument at their $10 million Star Island mansion.
Lisa and the plastic surgeon tied the knot in 2009. He filed for divorce from Lisa in October 2022.
In the same month, he went public with his girlfriend Katharina Mazepa, whom he married in July.
Lisa claimed that Mazepa was Lenny’s “mistress”, which he denied, saying that they started dating after he and Lisa had already divorced.
Lisa and Lenny share son Logan (8) and daughter Elle (4). In April, Lenny was ordered to pay Lisa $8,000 per month in temporary support.
However, according to Page Six, he filed an emergency motion with the court on August 10 to rescind his divorce settlement. The former partners had previously agreed to a settlement.
The warring ex-partners were married for twelve years and have two children together: their son Logan, eight, and their daughter Elle, four.
In one of the documents, Lenny’s lawyer noted that he had taken steps to withdraw the settlement “in the expectation” that Lisa would reject it.
Although his documents suggest he and Lisa continued to negotiate a fairer settlement, a source close to the former couple described his recent moves as another attempt to harm Lisa by prolonging their grueling divorce proceedings.
The source claimed he withdrew the settlement to delay the legal process and force them into “bankruptcy”, leading to mounting legal costs.
They also claimed he tried to get them to sign another “low-ball” deal.
