She also posed for the Swedish brand Chiquelle with advertisements in the May issue of Elle magazine Sweden.

Blanca said staying slim has a lot to do with meal timing.

“I never eat late at night, that’s a golden rule I adopted this summer.” I stop eating around 6pm so my body can digest what I ate before I go to bed. So no more bowls of popcorn or granola bars late at night. Gone are the late night snacks. If I’m really hungry, I chop up vegetables and add olive oil and sea salt. But usually I just wait until breakfast to eat.

“It also saves money.” Because sometimes in the evening I went to Go Greek and bought frozen yogurt to treat myself. I do not do that anymore. I practically avoided desserts in the evening. Sometimes I order a fancy dessert after dinner that costs about $14. Not anymore. Sometimes these desserts can cost a fortune in good restaurants! I once ordered a chocolate dessert that cost $22. It wasn’t worth it – too expensive and 1,000 calories.

“If I want something sweet, I drink decaf coffee with a little honey.”

The star told DailyMail.com that she currently follows the Mediterranean diet. “It’s high in protein, so there’s not a lot of carbohydrate that gets converted to sugar after it’s metabolized,” she said.

“It just requires a lot of fresh vegetables, so I always run to the supermarket.”

Research has shown that the Mediterranean diet outperforms low-fat diets for weight loss.

A systematic review found that switching from an omnivore diet to a plant-based diet helps most people lose weight, possibly because of increased fiber intake and reduction of animal protein in favor of plant-based proteins. published in Diabetes, metabolic syndrome and obesity: goals and therapy in 2020.

In June, Blanca talked about sports.

“I try to work out an hour a day, five days a week,” the “Mission: Possible” star said.

“Cardio and strength training are crucial.” I use weights to stay in shape. Ten pound dumbbells are great for building muscle.

“Some weeks are challenging to maintain a routine. I try to be kind to myself when I can’t do a routine and know that even a day or five minutes of exercise a day is 100% better than nothing.

“Sometimes I walk around my neighborhood for fifteen minutes when I don’t have time to go to the gym.”

“I also have a running app, so the bottom line is that it helps with walking to the car or the gas station.”

And she has some diet tricks too.

“I eat grilled food instead of fried food.” It is healthier for the heart and lowers cholesterol.

“High cholesterol is not in my family.” So I try to work on what I can and what is within my control. “I like fries, so sometimes it’s not easy.”

And that excludes meat and sugar.

“For two months now I have decided to live a pescatarian lifestyle, which is a temporary change.

“That means no meat, no chicken and only seafood.” I love fish so this works for me. In restaurants I often order grilled salmon with vegetables.

“I don’t eat sugar either, so no desserts, no cake, no ice cream, no thanks!” It’s just not worth it to me. Every time I eat dessert, I have to exercise another hour, and that’s too much time.

“I only eat sugar from fruit, which is great because I like apples and strawberries.”

“I think it’s important to detoxify the body every now and then and also boost your metabolism. “I feel less bloated, more regular and have more energy.”

And she says the advice to drink more water really works.

“It’s not only good for our organs, I also notice that it helps my skin.” Goodbye pimples. The best way to find out if we drink enough is to divide your body weight by two. The result is the number of grams we need for that day.”

And she also shared that reducing stress is also very helpful in losing weight.

“Take it one day at a time,” says the star, who grew up in Washington state.

“Stress can get in our way, but every small step we take makes a difference.” Keep it simple! Be good to yourself.’
