During the filming of the favorite by millions “Matchmakers” three actresses changed on the screen, embodying Zhenya Kovaleva. And only one of them was supported by her own mother in the frame.
The adult heroine was played by Anna Koshmal. Perhaps it was this Zhenya who was especially remembered by the fans – a rebel and informal. But before her, young Sofia Stetsenko was invited to the role, the actress starred in the third and fourth seasons.
Even earlier, the directors noticed the baby Ulyana Ivashchenko. It was she who appeared in the image of Budko’s granddaughter in the first two seasons. She especially did not have to worry about the shooting, because Inna Koroleva, the girl’s mother, was nearby. By a happy coincidence, it was she who also passed the casting in the project and took on the role of Zhenya’s parent.
