It’s no secret that Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle didn’t get along from the start. Many believe that they compete with each other, albeit not openly. By all accounts, Prince William’s wife wins: the British adore her. And recently she made another smart move.
After Markle’s scandalous interview with Oprah Winfrey, in which the actress said her sister-in-law had brought her to tears, Middleton decided to outdo her sworn friend. She drastically changed her image and included many pink outfits in her wardrobe. Not just like that, but to come across as softer and friendlier.
“It’s a genius trick,” says fashion stylist Miranda Holder, according to The Sun.
She added that members of the royal family always put extra meanings in the wardrobe, so the changes in Middleton’s images were definitely done on purpose.
