Skye Wheatley returns to Cyrell Paule after leaked image row

Skye Wheatley came out after clashing with Cyrell Paule at a star-studded dinner on the Gold Coast on Tuesday.

Another diner had secretly recorded the couple’s fight after Wheatley asked Paule about rumors that her relationship with boyfriend Eden Dally was fake, and Paule later shared the video on Instagram.

Wheatley, 28, responded to the viral images on Wednesday and posted a series of Instagram stories telling her what really happened to her.

He said he didn’t want to comment on the subject at first because he didn’t like the “negative” on his page, but he couldn’t be quiet any longer.

The showdown took place Tuesday night at the opulent Palazzo Versace hotel, and Paule lost his temper as Wheatley wondered if his three-year relationship with Love Island ex Dally was real.

The person sitting next to Paule secretly recorded Wheatley while they were dining with other influencers and TV personalities.

‘Don’t be so smart. I will put you in your place,” Wheatley said in the images he shared on Instagram.

Wheatley said in his now-deleted Stories Wednesday that he never intended to offend anyone and just wanted to ask Paule a simple question.

“I’m like a puppy,” he added, before pointing out that it was Paule who was threatening him.

He admitted that his question “triggered” Paule, but said his angry reaction to dinner was not justified.

“I’m very open and honest when I dedicate my life to this, so if someone were to ask about Lachy and me, I would answer,” Wheatley said, referring to his partner, Lachlan Waugh.

Wheatley said he was shocked by the snowball effect of the accident and said he needed to “just remove my ballot box” so as not to offend anyone again.

Paule and Dally met in March 2019 after their televised marriage to Nic Jovanovic at MAFS ended after they decided they were better off as friends.

The couple officially started dating within a few weeks and later moved into his home in Sydney.

They welcomed their first child, son, Boston, in February 2020.
