Rebecca Ferguson has shared an adorable photo with her fourth child two months after announcing her surprise baby.

The former X Factor star, 36, and husband Jonny Hughes announced the birth of their first child together in February, days after they were born on Valentine’s Day.

And Rebecca, who also has three children from two previous relationships, took to Instagram on Friday to share her first photo with her newborn baby.

She looked elegant in a pink and gold wrap dress as she cuddled up to her toddler, who was wearing a yellow romper.

The doting mother pulled her dark brown locks back in a sleek updo and accentuated her striking features with a glamorous make-up palette.

Her sweet news comes two months after she announced the arrival of her fourth child in a surprise social media post.

The 36-year-old singer shared the Instagram update in February to announce the happy news, posting an adorable photo of her new baby.

Next to the photo she wrote: “Surprise! It seems I can keep a secret. Born on Valentine’s Day.”

Rebecca, who was a finalist in the 2010 competition, and Jonny have kept their pregnancy a secret and this is their first child together.

The couple married in December last year after seven years of dating at their “dream wedding venue” in posh Mayfair, London.

Rebecca said at the time that the “last piece of the puzzle” in her life was now in place after a ceremony at The Dorchester Hotel.

She said HELLO! that her children Lillie (18), Karl (16) and eight-year-old Arabella attended her wedding with the sports agent.

Rebecca shares her two eldest children with ex Karl Dures, whom she met when she was a teenager, while daughter Arabella is from a later relationship.

The singer explained: “When I started years ago I took the Megabus from Liverpool to London. It was cheap as chips. We drove down Park Avenue.

“It was inspiring to me because I looked at The Dorchester and I thought, ‘One day I’m going to live there.’ Getting married there was a dream for me.”

Rebecca also said it was a testament to how far she had come to put the “horrible things” behind her and find “peace and happiness”.

Johnny said his bride looked beautiful and it was “really touching” to see Lillie with a tear in her eye.

Rebecca said that when she asked other long-term couples how they knew they had “met the one,” they said you “just know.”

She added: “I feel the same way about Jonny. I could be myself with him.«

The singer confirmed her engagement on New Year’s Day when she posted a series of pictures with Jonny, a sports agent.

Over the course of her career, Rebecca has had top 20 songs on the Official Charts, including Nothing’s Real But Love, Backtrack and I Hope.

All of her albums, 2011’s Heaven, 2013’s Freedom, 2015’s Lady Sings The Blues and 2016’s Superwoman, made the top 10.
