Kelsea stunned wearing a glittery gold dress on stage, while also holding a very important instrument: her guitar. Fans cheered, seemingly giving a “yes” to the song that made the cut. “Era?!” the “Peter Pan” singer responded while blowing an air kiss, as did several Swifties lucky enough to be at the Arizona arena on Friday night. “Wow, this is my Super Bowl, I have to be honest… It’s okay. Oh. That’s all I needed to know. Thank you for that,” she then said.

“Cruel Summer” was perhaps one of the most anticipated songs for a live performance, initially set to be part of Taylor’s 2020. Valentine’s day which was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Soon after, the GRAMMY-winning singer released her surprise album Folklorefollowed by a sister project Never a few months later, in December. Most recently, she released the concept album midnightwhich spawned such hits as “Lavender Haze”, “Vigilante S—” and “Karma”.

Taylor played for three hours and 12 minutes as she led fans through the various “eras” of her career, an impressively long list of 44 songs on the album. Speak Now, Red, 1989, and more. The costume changes were also impressive, as Taylor paid homage to some of her most iconic performances and music videos over the years, including a glittery gold dress for “Love Story,” the top hat and black shirts for ” 22″ (along with a T-shirt that reads “not much happening right now”), a Speak Now fringed dress of the era and more.
