sam neil75, greeted fans with a video revealing he’s “alive and well,” though he recently revealed his non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma diagnosis in a recent interview and in his new memoir, Did I already tell you? The actor, who also revealed he’s been undergoing chemotherapy once a month, took to Instagram on March 18 to share the clip, along with a lengthy caption that he’s updated. Hi, I’m Sam Neill! Sort of an actor, vintner and author by accident,” he wrote at the top of the photo caption.

After adding that his “health news seems to be all over the news right now, he’s like ‘Cancer! Cancer! Cancer! ‘” he admitted that he was “a little tired because as you can see I’m alive and well, and I’ve been in remission for eight months, which is good enough.”
Sam also wrote to fans about his healing journey and gave them an update on what he’s been up to in his career. In addition to mentioning his new Peacock series, apples never fallwhich also stars the actress anette bening, went into detail about his memoirs and why he wrote them. “I just wish the title wasn’t so much ‘that thing’, because the main thing is that I wrote this book, it’s called Did I already tell you?and mention cancer because that’s the kind of context I wrote it in,” she wrote.
“But I didn’t really want to write a book,” she added. “I needed something to do while I was in treatment and I’m used to going to work and suddenly I couldn’t go to work.” He went on to express his gratitude for his success as an actor.
“I never thought I’d have an acting career, let alone a film actor,” he wrote. “But that’s pretty much what happened and I’m filled with gratitude when I look back on this life, and that’s what the book is about. I hope you like it.” He concluded the post of him assuring his fans to “don’t worry too much about ‘all of this’ because I’m fine”.
Sam is best known for his role as Alan Grant in the hit film Jurassic Park franchise. She also starred in the popular 90’s movie, The Hunt for Red Octoberand has won numerous awards for his work over the years.
