Lenny Kravitz will perform the In Memoriam Performance at the 95th Annual Academy Awards, which will air live on ABC and broadcast worldwide on March 12 at 8:00 PM EDT / 5:00 PM PDT.
Kravitz’s musical career spanning more than three decades has spanned 11 studio albums that have sold 40 million copies worldwide and won four consecutive Grammy Awards. Kravitz appears in films such as The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Lee Daniels’ The Butler, The Hunger Games And Wonderful.
After the In Memoriam tribute, more than 200 filmmakers, artists and executives will be honored in an extensive photo gallery a framethe digital magazine of the academy.
Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner are executive producers and showrunners of this year’s Oscars. Molly McNearney will also serve as executive producer. It will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel at the Dolby Theater in Ovation Hollywood.
Producers will continue to announce talent joining the show before the ceremony.
