This surprised even his colleagues on the set.
British stuntman Ian White turned out to be a real phenomenon for the series Game of Thrones – he played five characters at once. According to Movie News, the high growth (2.16 meters) allowed the actor to successfully reincarnate from season to season. He was even jokingly referred to as “The Many-Faced God” on set.
Ian embodied the image of the White Walker in the first and second seasons. It was he who in the Night Lands series took the baby wildling Craster to the Enchanted Forest.

In the second season, White also played Gregor Clegane, aka “The Mountain”. In the future, this role was embodied by two more actors.

Giant Dongo is also Ian. His audience first saw it on the screens in the third season, when Jon Snow entered the king’s camp beyond the wall.

But White couldn’t get away with one giant. He also got the role of Wun Wun, who was killed by Ramsey Bolton during the storming of Winterfell in the sixth season.
