Actor Rupert Grint became famous all over the world thanks to the role of Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter films. However, as it turns out, the artist herself wasn’t too happy playing the character. He evaluates the experience he has gained without enthusiasm.
According to the actor, it was “quite stifling” for him to play the same role for ten years. At the same time, this hero was perfect for him, because Grint grew up among five siblings. He admits that he shared with Ron the feeling of inferiority that many children in large families experience. Despite the fact that the role has made the actor tired, he still responds when his name is Ron on the street.
“In the movies, we merged with the character as one. Towards the end I played myself. The boundaries were blurred,” he admitted in an interview with Bustle.
