When the 62-year-old London-born family goddess appeared on The Project in Australia on Tuesday, she said it wasn’t her only quirk.

“There are other words I use. You know how all families talk nonsense? I mean, you know, I use ‘dried’ coconuts,” she admitted.
“When I get a new device, I have to read ‘breakdowns’. When I go somewhere, I have to text someone and tell them I’m there, you know?’ she loved it.
“It’s just a joke, false words. The interesting thing is that I found out later: So all families have these words in one way or another.”

Nigella also admitted that she enjoyed the kebab after spending a night on the town.
“I prefer the potato chip kebab. So one of my favorites is focaccia, hummus, some lemon zest, some salt, some chips and wrap them up. It’s huge,” she said.
While cooking a rich, buttery mashed potato on the Cook, Eat, Repeat 2020 episode, Nigella told fans: “I still need some milk, I reheated it in a fat-filled, meecro-wahvey.” .’
In a series of subsequent Twitter posts, the cookbook author had to respond to dozens of fans explaining the microwave joke, adding that he hoped the “brouhaha” would end.

The cook is currently in Australia to attend the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival.
