Ex On The Beach’s Helen Briggs welcomed her third baby after she and her family caught a cold which meant her boyfriend Chet couldn’t be with her.
The 27-year-old TV personality gave birth to a baby girl via C-section on December 21 and shared the happy news with her 644,000 Instagram followers as she recovers.
She suffered from the common cold that everyone gets, but luckily recovered just in time to have her third baby, but Chet, 32, and her other two children stayed at home and suffered from the illness.

Reality star Helen wrote on her Instagram stories: “Just wanted to give you all a little update on why we’ve been so quiet around here.
“A week before the birth I got a cold/cough that everyone has.
“Luckily I got better just in time to have the baby, but Chet and the kids are much worse off than I am. So they were all bedridden with this disease.
“I had to take my mother after the birth of our daughter because Chet was so bad at the time.
Parents again: She was struck down with the common cold that everyone else caught, but luckily she got better just in time to have her third baby, but Chet, 32, and her other two children were left at home suffering the disease (photo together in the hospital before birth)
“Then she had to immediately hit back to help Chet with Ocean and Elvis, it was a very difficult week.
“But me, Chet and the kids are on the mend, the baby is perfect and healthy here. I am now back home and recovering very well. My c-section was amazing and couldn’t have gone better!
Just in time for Christmas, we have the perfect gift. Thank you for the kind and lovely messages.”

She also shared a photo of herself in a hospital gown sitting up on her hospital bed while awaiting her C-section.
Under the photo, Helen thanked God for letting her mother stand by her during the birth.
“Thank God for my mother. She took this photo of me getting ready to welcome our newest addition to the family.
In August, Helen announced her third pregnancy with partner Chet Johnson, 32.

The couple uploaded a heartwarming video post together to mark their seven-year anniversary, announcing their happy news with the help of daughter Ocean, two, and son Elvis, one.
The excerpts began with the reality star presenting a positive Clear Blue pregnancy test, followed by a baby scan.
Helen previously won hearts in series four of Ex On The Beach after reuniting with ex Chet, who romantically described her as “the one who got away”.
They welcomed their first child, daughter Ocean, on 11 November 2019 after Helen was in labor for 22 hours.
At the time, Chet said that watching his partner “go through what she’s been through” made him realize “how strong women really are,” as he announced the news by sharing a heartwarming photo of his newborn daughter with his finger shared via his Instagram page.
A year later, on December 27, 2020, the couple welcomed son Elvis.
