Biloxi, Birmingham, New Orleans, New York, and Miami represent major urban and medical centers across the American South and East Coast. Athens is the capital and largest city of Greece, where the couple currently resides.
Reflecting on his husband's character, Kasselakis wrote that wherever life had led Macbeth, he impressed everyone who met him with his sincere kindness, warm personality, and big heart.
Dedicated work in intensive care units
The post gave special prominence to Macbeth's career in healthcare, specifically highlighting his work inside hospital Intensive Care Units.
Kasselakis stated that his husband helped heal thousands of patients and saved hundreds of lives both inside the ICU and beyond. He added that the world is a better place because Macbeth is in it.
An Intensive Care Unit, or ICU, is a specialist hospital facility designed to treat patients with life-threatening conditions through continuous monitoring and medical care. Healthcare personnel in ICUs deliver critical treatment during severe medical emergencies.
