Believe it or not, some makeup products and techniques can wipe years off your face in an instant. But unfortunately, this rule also works in the opposite direction. Incorrectly selected textures and shades can harm and focus attention on some age-related changes.
light foundation
I often hear from “adult girls” that over the years their skin needs more and more dense coverage. And this is a big mistake. Of course, the quality of the skin is an indicator of age. But if it is dehydrated and dry, with many small superficial wrinkles on it, any heavy powder, concealer or foundation will only emphasize this. Thick, oily skin has fewer expression lines, but wrinkles are often deeper. So in this case, a product with an extremely rich texture will be pilled. To avoid this, I always recommend choosing light and airy products that are not too pigmented.
You can apply the most flexible concealer to places that require additional work (bruises, hernias, dark circles around the eyes, redness at the edge of the nose). A little tip from me: If you have a lot of wrinkles on your lower eyelid and you really want to brighten the eye area, you can use it only in the inner corner. The effect you will get is amazing, I promise.
precision highlighter
We associate youthful skin with smoothness and radiance. Therefore, it is difficult to do without highlighter in anti-aging makeup because it can only provide a similar effect. However, the reflective particles should be as small as possible. Because the big ones focus attention on creases and creases instead of an elegant, shiny touch. You need to apply it by drawing the letter “C” from the outer corner of the eyebrow to the cheekbones of the cheeks. The texture can be creamy or dry.
Soft pink blush
I have already written that blush is the most important product that can be compared to the basic wardrobe item: you cannot do without it. And especially in anti-aging makeup.
With their help, you can refresh your face with just one touch. The main thing is not to miss and choose the right shade. In this case it should be refreshing: peach or soft pink. But brick, brown and also matte ones do not fit the standard Slavic type.
Blush should be applied from the cheeks to the temples; You can also use it to make a small highlight on the upper eyelid. All lines should be smooth, carefully shaded and oriented at a 45-degree angle. Remember that too much clarity adds age!
Refreshing eye makeup
Eye makeup colors should be light and airy: beige, gold, soft pink. However, it is best to avoid the cold, gray and purple ones. Actually, it’s like matte textures. It would be better if they were satin with small reflective particles.
If you really want to make an arrow, but the outer corner of the eye sags slightly, choose not a black pencil, but olive, brown or metallic. If the eyelid is extremely deformed, it is better to shade the arrow. The inner metal eyeliner on the mucous membrane and inner corners is quite refreshing.
delicate lip gloss
It so happens that with age the volume of the lips decreases and their shape becomes less distinct. Therefore, the fastest way to “get younger” is to plump your lips. Going a little beyond natural, you need to mark the outline, a pencil of a neutral shade will help with this. Then apply gloss to the entire surface. I do not recommend using bright lipsticks for noticeable wrinkles around the lips because there is a risk of drawing attention to the imperfections. But if you really want color, apply concealer to the outer corners first. Then apply the lipstick using your fingertips to get the effect of kissed lips.
