Barcelona fans have given up hope on Lionel Messi’s return to the club. After the Argentinian footballer’s contract with PSG expired, he went to Miami to help David Beckham’s club.
In a new interview, the world champion said that he is more than happy with his life right now and is enjoying this time.
The star of the Inter Miami club admitted that he does not see himself on the other side of the football field at the moment. “I wouldn’t want to be a manager, I still don’t know what I want to do in the future. I appreciate each day much more than the last, so I just think about playing, training and having fun. There’s always a lot going on in football and there’s a long way to go, so I don’t think about the future . I live for today,” Marca quoted Messi as saying.
He added that he does not seek people’s approval. “Let people remember me however they want. I thank God for my career and everything I have. My biggest dream was to win the World Championship; I worked hard and put in a lot of effort for this. “I was lucky to win everything in Barcelona, in the national team, I have a wonderful family, I am very grateful for everything,” said the 37-year-old Argentinian.
