‘A Million Little Things’ Duo DJ Nash and Dana Honor Plan ‘Life, Changing’ Drama in the Works at NBC

EXCLUSIVE: NBC is developing a new family drama series from A million little things Creator DJ Nash and Dana Honor, who served as executive producer for the first four seasons.

The pair is sold life changing with a network fine as her ABC series concludes its fifth season. Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, is the studio.

The series follows a couple for 25 years as they share good and bad life moments that will change them forever. “Sometimes in life, the hardest challenges give way to greater things than you ever imagined,” the logline says.

Nash writes and produces with Honor Executive, who produces via her Defining Eve Productions clapboard.

Honor even signed an overall deal with Universal Television, which is producing, earlier this summer. As part of this deal, the former executive producer of Kapital Entertainment founded Defining Eve Productions.

Nash himself is also returning to NBCUniversal. He previously had two back-to-back overall contracts with the studio, where he filmed two comedies fishermen grow up and To be honest.

The fifth and final season of A million little things, produced by ABC Signature and Kapital, launches in February. It features an ensemble cast that includes David Giuntoli, Grace Park, Romany Malco, Chrisina Moses, Allison Miller, James Roday Rodriguez and Stephanie Szostak.

This is the latest project for NBC to continue its development process throughout the year.

Other high-profile developments include a word-of-mouth comedy inspired by Andy Cohen’s best-selling book most talkative from Universal Television and Blumhouse, Grootpunt Garden Associationwho has a connection as a pilot, and point Nemoout good girls Creator Jenna Bans, Comedy LeCoq by Guy Branum, Todd Milliner and Sean Hayes’ Hazy Mills Productions and Universal TV, and K citya soap opera by Denise Hahn, Michael Notarile and Warner Bros.
