EXCLUSIVE: Nicole Pacen (Western world, call me cat) joined the cast of Criminal Minds: Evolution in a recurring role. She will play Rebecca, a Justice Department attorney who uncovers disturbing news about the fate of the BAU.
Criminal Minds: Evolution will continue and expand the franchise for streaming audiences, mixing series elements into the format of the series. The CBS Original criminal spirits The series, which ran from 2005 to 2020, followed the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit in which the best of the best profiled the worst of the worst.
In the series Paramount+, the FBI’s elite team of criminal profilers confronts their greatest threat yet, a perpetrator who has used the pandemic to create a network of other serial killers. When the world opens up again and the network is operational, the team must track them down, one kill at a time.
Original cast reprising their roles include Joe Mantegna, AJ Cook, Kirsten Vangsness, Aisha Tyler, Adam Rodriguez and Paget Brewster.
Criminal Minds: Evolution is produced by ABC Signature and CBS Studios. Erica Messer serves as showrunner, executive producer and writer. Breen Frazier and Christopher Barbour will serve as writers and executive producers, Glenn Kershaw will serve as director and executive producer, and Mark Gordon will also serve as executive producer.
