Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez mourn: the football player announces the death of his newborn son

While expecting twins with her partner Georgina Rodriguez, only the little girl was born.

The 37-year-old athlete, who is already the father of 4 children, announced last October that his friend Georgina Rodriguez is pregnant. “Where life begins and love never ends,” she wrote on Instagram, commenting on a video of her kids blowing up pink and blue confetti while revealing the twins’ gender.

As the Portuguese footballer’s participation in Tuesday’s Premier League match against Liverpool was jeopardized, his club wanted to support him. “Your pain is our pain, Cristiano. We send love and strength to you and your family,” Manchester United’s Twitter account said.

The footballer became a father for the first time on 17 June 2012 to little Cristiano Junior, who was born by a surrogate mother to twins Eva and Mateo in July 2017.

The couple, who has been in a relationship with Argentinian model Georgina Rodriguez since December 2016, welcomed their first child, a little girl named Alana, in November 2017.
