With no inspiration for his second book, a disappointed novelist agrees to write the memoirs of a dying man and soon finds himself immersed in his bloody past. This is the starting point of an exciting yet black little gem available on Netflix. His name : Black Butterflies. If this title means anything to you, that’s fine. Worn by Niels Arestrup, Nicolas Duvauchelle, and even Brigitte Catillon, this miniseries indeed aired on Arte a few weeks ago. The series, which aired on Arte.tv between September 8 and October 13, 2022, is scheduled to air on Arte on Thursdays, 22 and 29 September 2022.
Good news to anyone who missed this mark, the series has been watching on Netflix since October 15th. And his arrival was clearly not noticed. It is currently number 4 in the ranking of the 10 most watched TV series in France. dynasty, Empress or flood – but behind the big hits Audience, Dahmer – The Beast: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story and Midnight Club. A great plebiscite for this series created and written by Olivier Abbou and Bruno Merle and awarded in the final edition of Series Mania (Axel Granberger received the award for best actor in a series).

What I love about TV shows is being able to carry a character for a few hours of programming. And it’s still a hell of a kiff”Nicolas Duvauchelle told us last September.
Fans, especially those who immerse themselves in this series, which has a dark atmosphere and some difficult scenes, will be able to discover it in bookstores from September 7th. Black Butterflies central to the series and written by the two main characters. “An entirely new approach: a novel taken from an audio-visual work that is not novelization.
