Twelve-year-olds accepting the challenge. dance with the stars. The new season of the series broadcast by TF1 starts on Friday, September 9th. Among the nominees to try to win in this twelfth edition, viewers will find Billy Crawford, Anguun, Amandine Petit, David Douillet or singer Eva. 21-year-old young actor Thomas Da Costa, who plays Axel Teyssier in the series Here It All Beginsshe counts on her participation in the show and her ambitions on the show.

What was your motivation for agreeing to participate in this new season of DALS?

It is the particularly challenging aspect that interests me, for both the physical and mental commitment that this adventure entails. I don’t master dance, it’s not really my flagship discipline. And while I’m already an actor and singing, I want to be a more complete artist. I am very interested in musicals where you have to combine acting, singing and dancing. I tell myself that this DALS experience can make me an interesting profile in that respect. But I hope to continue in the field of acting and music in the future.

What was it like meeting your partner on the show?

As in any relationship, you need time to get used to yourself and discover yourself at the beginning. Evolution in dance is influenced by the knowledge we have about our partner. The relationship we build allows us to move forward and move forward.

Were you afraid of having to open your heart during the adventure with your partner, both during shows and during training?

I was not afraid of having to give myself to someone. It’s more the fact that I’m used to interpreting roles and being asked to be myself there in public. This is something different. I know there will be criticism afterwards, but I just want to be sincere and agree with myself. Then there will be people who will support us, maybe connect with us, I prefer to focus on that.

Are there any candidates in the competition that you fear more than others?

Billy Crawford! (laughs) In terms of dance, it should be said that we do not all start at the same stage, everyone comes with experience or inexperience. Billy Crawford danced in music videos when I was a little kid. But beware, Carla is also a very good dancer, Florent Peyre danced for a few years…

How will you manage your participation in “Here it all starts” during this adventure?

I will continue to shoot the series. I have a slightly lighter schedule than usual and film on average two days a week. I have to go South for the series so it definitely goes back and forth. It’s a private organization but when I joined DALS I knew what to expect. Frankly, I sought advice from Aurélie Pons, who joined last year. She told me to manage fatigue, energy and rhythm well. I think by multiplying activities it forces us to focus and then I’m young, now we have to!
