After 18 years of good and faithful service on the France 3 antenna, the Plus Belle La Vie series stands out. A sudden stop that shocked multiple actors in the cult series like Laurent Kérusoré. Thomas Marci’s translator accused France Télévisions of failing to announce the end of the series, which he played in the rules of art from the very beginning.
However, he is not the only one upset by this decision. Céline Frémont’s translator, Rebecca Hampton, has seen her life turned upside down since the series’ ending was announced. She’s been there from the start too, she only has a few months to change her life and leave her adopted city of Marseille. “I had a huge heartache. My life has changed a lot since I moved in with my daughter (…),” she confided in Télé Loisirs.
Shocked, she doesn’t want to attend the end of filming scheduled for September 30. In her columns for the Ciné Télé Revue she explains: “I won’t be there because emotionally I am not in a position to celebrate at the end of the shoot. These are 18 beautiful years of life”.
If the young woman did not have a job or a project, this page of her life that suddenly turned around left its mark: “I have a lot of projects. I’m not worried (…), but emotionally I am. I’m in a bit of danger right now.”
If stopping Plus Belle La Vie was a heartbreak for her, Rebecca Hampton also has a sentimental thought for fans of the first watch: “There are people, especially the elderly, for whom this has really become a ritual. I see it on the street, it makes me very unhappy for them. I am getting very sad messages.”
