Martin questions Renaud. She wants to know why you gave Diane 15,000 euros before she disappeared. Renaud explains that he asked her for this money to completely change her life abroad. He then assures that Diane is just a friend, nothing more. Martin thinks it was he who tried to kill Samuel.

Renaud then comes to confront his son. He wants to know what you said to the police. Samuel is not far from thinking that Renaud is behind everything that has angered and disappointed his estranged father.

Martin and George think that Renaud is using his money and authority to hide his relationship with Diane. The latter returned 10 years later, realizing that he had been manipulated. As soon as he realized that he would not inherit Ma, he went mad and wanted revenge on Samuel.

Marianne also tries to understand why Renaud donated to Diane without question, which makes Renaud uncomfortable, visibly nervous.
