“Grey’s Anatomy” synopsis: Winston’s mysterious brother arrives and Jo’s new love story blossoms

While Meredith and Zola talk about the family’s possible relocation to Minnesota during the brand new “Grey’s Anatomy,” Winston’s brother unexpectedly shows up in Seattle.

Maggie and Winston prepare for one of their most intense operations ever. Only 7 programs in the country use the Ross procedure and Gray Sloan is one of them. A young patient and his family traveled across the country from Boston to have this surgery.

Owen thinks he’s ready to go back to work, but Amelia refuses to release him. Meredith gets sick, so Bailey has another doctor. He asks Richard to step in for help, but doesn’t want to have surgery until he gets his evaluation. She’s keeping her position with Bailey on this one. Owen sees an opportunity and offers to be the temporary “boss” for the day so Bailey can be in the OR.

Winston’s brother surprises him

Winston is in for a surprise when his younger brother, Wendell, arrives in Seattle. Wendell apologizes for not coming to Winston and Maggie’s wedding. Now with a new job as a medical sales clerk, Owen wasted no time promoting his products. Winston is extremely uncomfortable with his brother being in town. Winston soon discovers that Wendell is using him and Maggie to get a job.

Maggie’s patient barely makes it to Seattle. Due to his condition, the operation is in the air. Maggie wants to do this. In fact, it should break this girl’s heart in two. High blood pressure.

Maggie asks Winston if she can fully concentrate on the operation. She knows there’s something wrong with her, she. Winston talks about his brother and their complicated past. Zola realizes that Meredith is ignoring Hamilton and Nick’s calls. Meredith tells Zola that she can move to Minnesota. Zola does not reject this idea.

Winston joins Wendell after surgery. She admits that she still blames Wendell for her mother’s death. He’s angry about the money and energy his mother wasted on Wendell and his father. However, Winston knows that his mother would be furious if she knew that her children were separated. Winston offers Wendell a place to stay if she wants to stay in Seattle.

After an incredible day of surgery, Bailey gets some bad news from Owen. It reveals that the residency program is in jeopardy. There is an official notice to turn it off.
