George goes through Vanessa’s things
Since George doesn’t have to work today, Vanessa offers him to come to Spoon, but the police claim they have to replace a colleague. Vanessa senses something is wrong, but George assures her that everything is okay. When she leaves, she calls Victoire and asks to talk to her. He still believes that Vanessa wrote the letters and that she may have been Sète’s murderer.
Nordine continues to shuffle the correspondents’ letters. He hasn’t found anything yet and he thinks Tristan is the murderer. When Martin finds out that it’s not him and that the police are looking for an imposter, Martin is convinced the killer set him up to ambush him. So he’s close not just to Louise and Bart, but to Tristan as well. Nordine will start all over again.
Tristan is discouraged, thinking he will die in prison if he does nothing because the police have no other suspects and the prosecutor wants his head. He wants to transplant hunger and have Raphaëlle tell it to the media.
George thinks it’s Vanessa because her aunt’s name is Alice Reynie. He mysteriously died of a heart attack, like the victims of the murderer who swallowed digitalis. Coincidentally, Mercier wanted to attack him and killed him. That’s too much evidence for Victoire, who advised George to find concrete evidence. George is going to go through his girlfriend’s things, but he can’t tell his co-workers that yet.
He rummages through his partner’s locker and finds a mysterious box behind a locker. She wants to open it, but at the same time Vanessa comes in. When she leaves, she opens the locker and realizes that George had incorrectly closed the plate that hid the box.
Vanessa has prepared a special meal for George, but she won’t eat because she’s not hungry. George smells the trap and hesitates to attack his plate.
Is Nordine the donor of the future?
Roxane and Sara do not want to choose a stranger as their donor. This is very risky and they want the biological father to be able to communicate with the child just in case. Sara thinks about Bart, but with what she’s been through, it’s not her time. The two women simultaneously think of Nordine, who helped them when she took Roxane to Barcelona.
Roxane and Sara ask Nordine to be the parents of their children. She said she was ready to help them but took it as a joke. The girls are very serious and Nordine does not know how to react and does not respond. She never expected this, she. Not against it, and something that he has partially experienced. Sara and Roxane will give her some time to think because she doesn’t seem ready to make a decision.
Nordine seeks advice from Martin. The Commander would love to get to know his biological son and see him grow up, but fears that Nordine will try too hard to be involved when she will only be a donor. He’ll have to find his place without too much interference, which isn’t easy. He needs to think about whether he really wants this.
Lost wants to meet with Sophie, who might be worried if Nordine agrees to this. Sophie doesn’t mind it much and explains that she doesn’t care. He asks Nordine to leave his office.
Manon may be a very good recruit for the science police…or not…
Damien shows Manon how he collects metadata from a phone to further research. Manon is very interested and asks a lot of questions.
Manon searches for an autopsy file. Damien stops him because there are shocking photos but Manon seems to like it and wants to see the rest. She wants to know what studies she needs to do to get the same job as Damien. Aurore interrupts them and asks how it went. Damien thinks Manon has all the qualifications to join the scientific police.
Without anyone’s permission, Manon shows Dorian the forensic offices. Strange, his cousin pours a bottle on the table. The two young people try to clean up as much as they can. They may have destroyed the evidence of an investigation.
Manon calls his mother, who pulls the strings for both of them. She thinks they made a serious mistake and deserves a sanction, she. If he goes out, Martin could get in trouble because of his daughter. Damien arrives and admits that Manon made a big mistake, but he did so because he didn’t quit after he was done. So his analyzes weren’t destroyed by Dorian’s clumsiness because he has everything he needs. He just wants them to clean it up and will show them another case. Aurore can’t believe it when she gets the opportunity to have her daughter fired.
At dinner, Manon and Aurore get up their ass. Aurore thinks Manon nearly jeopardized an investigation in her defense, which was a minor mistake. Aurore could have supported her daughter like her real police colleagues would. William thinks at least he already has a good police vocabulary. Manon knows her parents want to discourage her from work, but she’s overly motivated.
