What makes you come back almost every year to scare you in the corridors of the castle?
Karima Charni: This is the question I ask myself every time! (Laughs) Well, the answer is simple: for the associations we fight for and the show promotes, for Alexia Laroche-Joubert, the show’s producer, whom I love so much, and for the encounters I’ve always had there. I leave with new friends every time! It must be said that adversity creates quite strong and intimate bonds!
Tonight, you are exceptionally eight candidates against normally six. For what reasons?
Because for the first time, there will be a competition between two teams of four! Number one from Father Fouras! (Laughs) We didn’t know this when we got to the goal, but Olivier Minne quickly identified two captains, Nicole Ferroni and Pef, who formed their team. I attended Nicole’s and we had to double our energy because we know how important the support of all candidates is to pass the tests. We thought we’d do the heist of the century with two extra pairs of arms! (laughs)
What are your main strengths?
I don’t have much strength, I’m afraid of everything, but trying cannot be taken away from me! I always give my all, no matter the outcome! And this year I discovered muscles I didn’t know! And again something happened to me: I wanted to test my fear of heights… I can’t tell you more! (laughs)
Will you be able to let go of your emotions at the start of the school year?
Certainly ! And it looks installed for me! I will be returning to the weekend morning show at LCI for the next season of Star Ac, which I continue to host with dear Nikos Aliağas.
