There was a real party atmosphere at 24 Hours of Le Mans. On the occasion of this 2023 edition, the legendary car racing celebrates its 100th anniversary. On this occasion, basketball player Lebron James gave the start. Ferrari was the winner at the end of the race, achieving its first success in 58 years at Le Mans.
On the part of the Proton Competition team, a member of the team attracted attention, especially before the start of the race. Unfortunately for the player, the race turned into a nightmare. While driving a Porsche 911, Michael Fassebender completely lost control of the car in a corner. Fortunately, the accident caused only property damage and no injuries were reported. The player exited the vehicle unharmed, but the accident ended the race for the Proton Competition team. This was Michael Fassbender’s second appearance at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the amateur category.
