Originally a video game

Freely inspired by a video game of the same name released in 2006, the series was conceived by British duo Gareth Evans and Matt Flannery, whose breathtaking martial arts film The Raid (2011) has garnered much attention from action movie fans. It’s a spirit we found throughout the nine episodes of season 1.
