Kim Kardashian will be at the Met Gala this year. The reality TV icon confirmed her involvement by sharing photos from her recent trip to Paris on social media.
“We were hanging out at @karllagerfeld’s office to get some inspiration for the Met.” Kim Kardashian captioned several photos that specifically show her with her creator’s very famous cat, Choupette, 11.
The Skims founder stopped by Lagerfeld’s office to see some fashion sketches before Monday’s big night, as well as visiting the adorable Birman, who recently attended a Vogue photo shoot with Naomi Campbell.

The theme of this year’s Met Gala is a tribute to Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel’s former artistic director, who died in 2019 at the age of 85, so a visit is all the more appropriate.
While it was originally reported that the Kardashians were not invited to this year’s gala, yesterday’s post confirms Kim’s place on the steps of the Met Museum.
So if Kim K has confirmed her existence, we still don’t know if Choupette will be a part of the big gala hosted by fashion pope Anna Wintour.
The official Instagram account shared a video of the cat napping earlier this week with the caption, “Me as everyone wonders if I’m going to the Met Gala.”

Choupette’s rep confirmed to The Post privately that she was invited to this year’s gala but did not promise to attend.
“He got the invitation”The owner of My Pet Agency added: “This is an event in honor of Karl’s legacy, and Choupette is clearly a central part of that legacy.”
We’ll have to wait until Monday, May 1 to find out if Choupette will walk the red carpet alongside the stars!
