‘I’m in a bit of a vacuum’: Jean-Luc Reichmann remembers grieving after mother’s death

It has been less than a year since Jean-Luc Reichmann’s mother passed away… Still saddened by this difficult loss, the TF1 host shared how she has grieved since then.

On August 11, 2022, Jean-Luc Reichmann made a very sad post on his Instagram account. Actually, the host 12 strokes at noon announced that his mother, Josette, had died. At the end of his painful message, he wrote: “I love you so much mom, you know and I know from where you are that you see us and watch us. Wherever you are, wherever I am, you will always be there, you will be very close to me”. Since then, the animator’s life has returned to normal, but he has not forgotten who gave him life and paid tribute to whom.

“I think about him all the time”

His subscribers are also very supportive and do not hesitate to write him consolation messages. For example, the bottom of one of his posts might read: “You have to take the time to mourn the loss of someone so close. Keep all these moments of happiness with your mother in your heart and no one can take them away from you. You are surrounded by beautiful people. Thank you for your courage and what you have done. Bring us into our daily lives. Happiness, the desire to fight.”. And another subscriber to add: “A mother is never forgotten!!! She is always in our hearts and souls!!!”.

He admitted that he couldn’t “to find the words” to remember her lost mother but to keep moving forward in her memory. “He always told me, ‘Keep doing what you believe in and enjoy life.
