Jurassic Park Star Sam Neill took to Instagram to try to calm worried fans after it was revealed he is battling stage 3 blood cancer.
The battle is in his upcoming memoir, Did I Ever Tell You This?
Neill, 75, underwent chemotherapy before switching to a new drug that he will have to take monthly for the rest of his life.
“I’m alive and well and I’ve been in remission for 8 months which feels really good,” he said in a video shared to Instagram on Friday. “And I’m alive and well and I’ll work.”
Neill teams up again with Annette Bening in the limited series Apples Never Fall.
Neill first noticed that he had swollen glands during his PhD Jurassic world domination last March. After consulting a doctor, the actor was diagnosed with angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma, a rare form of blood cancer.
