EXCLUSIVE: Georgia Flood, Conor Merrigan Turner and Essie Randles have joined the cast of Peacock’s upcoming limited series Apples never fallrelated to Big Little Lies And Nine total strangers Bestselling book by author Liane Moriarty.
They will appear as series regulars alongside stars Annette Bening, Sam Neill, Jake Lacy and Alison Brie.
From writer and showrunner Melanie Marnich and Heyday Television of Universal International Studios, Apples never fall revolves around the Delaneys, who from the outside appear to be an enviably contented family. Former tennis coaches Joy (Bening) and Stan (Neill) are parents to four grown children (the oldest of whom are played by Brie and Lacy). After decades of marriage, they finally sold their famous tennis academy and are ready to start the golden years of their lives. But after Joy disappears, her children are forced to look at their parents’ marriage and family history with new eyes.
flood (Nautilus, American Princess) stars as Savannah, who arrives at the Delaneys’ house in the middle of the night, fleeing a toxic relationship. As she and Joy Delaney grow closer, Joy’s children begin to suspect that Savannah is not who she says she is.
gymnast (Thai cave rescue) will play Logan Delaney. When an attempt to turn pro failed, Logan made plans to take over his parents’ tennis academy. Instead, he found his inner peace in running the local marina in West Palm.
Randles (Motorway) was cast as Brooke Delaney. Running a physical therapy practice and planning a wedding with her fiancé Gina, she is the youngest Delaney and her father’s clear favorite.
Marnich and Moriarty are executive producers along with David Heyman, Albert Page and Jillian Share. Chris Sweeney will direct several episodes, including the first. Universal International Studios, a division of Universal Studio Group, is the studio, with NBCUniversal Global Distribution as distributor. The series is filmed in Australia.
