Emmy Heming Willis, wife of actor Bruce Willis, made an emotional plea to the paparazzi to stop yelling at her husband or otherwise distracting her while he is out.
“It is clear that there is still a lot of educational work to be done,” she wrote on Instagram on Saturday. “So this goes to the photographers and the video people who are trying to get this exclusive stuff out of my husband: just keep your space. I know it’s your job, but maybe just keep your seat free.
She added: “For the video people, please don’t shout at my husband and ask him how he is or whatever – the woohoo-ing and the yippie ki yays… just don’t do it .” OK? give him space Make sure our family or whoever is with him that day can get him from point A to point B safely.”
This month marks a year since Willis’ family – including Emma, ex-wife Demi Moore and his five daughters – announced that the pulp fiction The actor was diagnosed with aphasia, a neurological condition that affects communication and cognition. It has since progressed into dementia.
His wife’s video came after a short vacation to Santa Monica was hampered by media trying to capture a rare public appearance by Willis.

Bruce Willis turns 68 on March 19. His wife is 45.
