Almost a year later, on February 8, 2023, journalist Romain Verley, who led this investigation, is preparing to publish “The Black Prince PPDA,” a research book that uncovers new testimonies. At least 26 women have testified in court so far.
Before the publication of his book, Romain Verley told our colleagues at Le Parisien: “I’ve met new victims who were shocked by the way it operated very similar to the day of the attack. ‘M.’ like, this woman I’ve exchanged daily since then, and who wishes to remain anonymous”.
The journalist explains “The people I begged in vain finally wanted to sit down and deconstruct the myth.”
Romain Verley in his book Patrick Poivre d’Arvor “sowed small pebblesin each of his books. “Among the complainants were seven people who suffered from anorexia at the time of the attack, and one of them describes a rape under the large photograph of Solenn hanging in her father’s office”. Solenn, the PPDA’s daughter, contracted the disease and committed suicide at the age of 20.
In the Black Prince PPDA book, Romain Verley also returns to the famous PPDA notebook where he records women’s names. According to the journalist, “the existence of this ledger was confirmed to me by someone very close to the PPDA”.
A few weeks ago, it was Florence Porcel who became the first woman to file a complaint against the PPDA and published her book of truth. “Shame”.
