Kate Winslet gave a young journalist the chance to do her first interview and the video of the moment has now gone viral.
In the clip, which has been viewed thousands of times on social media, the Avatar: the way of water Star sat down for an interview with a kid who admitted she was a little anxious.
“This is my first time,” said the interviewer.
Leaning forward, Winslet said, “Is this your first time doing this?” Okay, well, guess what. If we do this interview, it will be the most amazing interview ever. And do you know why? Because we decided it would be.”
As the interviewer laughed nervously, Winslet continued, “Well, we’ve decided, me and you, that this is going to be a really great interview. And you can ask me anything you want and don’t be afraid, everything will be great be.”
The young journalist agreed titanic Star and the actor reassured her by saying, “You got it. Okay, let’s do it!”

Winslet went back to work under James Cameron’s guidance for the job avatar Continuation. At the London premiere event in December 2022, Winslet said it was “absolutely amazing” to work with him after 25 years.
“He’s so good at bringing the actors together and letting them figure it out,” she told Deadline. “If something doesn’t work, he says: ‘Okay, let’s do something else.’ And so that sense of collaboration was great and actually I think probably more than I expected.
Winslet also noted that Cameron is much “calmer and calmer” now that she’s gotten older.
