This is where it all starts (TF1): Vic was humiliated by his sister Hortense… pre-January 3 recap (SPOILER)

Clotilde Armand announces to the 4 candidates of the chefs championship the methods of the first selection test of the clerks. Each must choose one of their recipes that represents their culinary identity, and couples will work on it.

Samia announces to Ethan that she has switched partners and will eventually team up with Amber. He defends his choice by saying that he is 2^to years and that you can teach him something. Ethan is shocked and reminds him that Amber is an average student and together they are a machine. She criticizes him for always making decisions for both of them, even at the level of potential couples. He finally asks her to forget him and breaks up with him.

Axel tells Solal about Theo’s plan to test Jude. His friend is divided and realizes that doing this behind his back has been abused. He finally approves of the idea to check if the young man is holding up. Axel decides to sabotage the dessert by not putting gelatin in the mousse.

Vic explains to Amber that he wanted Ferrigno to mate with Mahdi but was afraid of ruining his relationship with Hortense. Ambre understands the chef’s choice because Mehdi is a pastry connoisseur and very close to Emmanuel Teyssier. Amber is afraid to warn Tom that she has changed partners. The latter arrives and tells them about the Samia / Ethan conflict. She claims she’ll react badly to him instead.

Ferigno uses the Circle’s secret passage to get to Teyssier’s office. He finds a way to open the vase and photograph the 4 receipts from the first clerk’s hearing.

Samia realizes that Ferigno has gone too far and regrets clashing with Ethan because of him. She doesn’t want to lose him. Vic reassures him that the young man will return. He reminds her that everything they do for Circle will pay off in their future careers.

Axel tells Jude that his sweet foam has not hardened. He offers to do it again, but the chef says he doesn’t have time as the orders have already arrived. He thinks about this and asks him to put his preparation in the freezing cell and then inject it directly into the gland.

Ferigno urged Cercle members to work on 4 recipes for championship contenders. He helps them without saying that they will meet in a few days. He explains whether these are just dishes that can help chefs better understand their culinary identity.

Solal and Axel agree that Jude is insured. Lisandro comes to the kitchen and tells that the customers love the dessert and congratulates the chef. After tasting it, Theo confirms that Jude has the qualifications to replace him. Leaving him Double A for 4 weeks. Vic later finds Ethan, who tells him about his conflict with Samia. He uses the opportunity to propose his match for testing. He hesitates because he is not at his level. But he assures her that he is very motivated and points out that if they do not find a partner immediately, they can say goodbye to the competition. He finally accepts.

Clotilde called students who hadn’t registered yet. Tom is surprised to find that Amber isn’t doing what’s necessary. Embarrassed, she announces to him that she chose Samia on the pretext that she wanted to cheer him up after breaking up with Ethan. Tom is angry. Finally he duets with a certain Léa.

After receiving the list of couples sent by Chief Armand, Samia discovered that Vic was duet with Ethan. She confronts her friend and accuses him of doing it behind his back and only thinking about her. For Samia, Vic is as toxic as Hortense says. She doesn’t want to see him anymore.

Vic informs Ferigno that he has rejected Mehdi’s offer and is with Ethan. He gets angry and reminds her that he wants a Teyssier ally in his camp. If he’s not ready for anything, he says it’s no use to him and he’s ruining everything. She asks him to hire Mehdi before the week ends.
