Emily in Paris it’s finally back! The third season of the Netflix series, which fans have been eagerly waiting for, finally went on the air this Wednesday morning. New episodes where the production of the series decided to take a new spin… in terms of style!
“Emily’s look this season has been deliberately designed from start to finish to look more French, from the body fit in the 43 outfits on display this season to the toning of her makeup palette using brown and red lipsticks.”He writes Netflix in this new season presentation.
To make this fashion comeback, the designers of the series drew inspiration from the great French stars who were considered fashion icons of the 1960s/1970s. “The entire styling team was inspired by real Lily Collins’ bangs and wanted to give Emily’s look a more ’60s/70s feel. Some of the main inspirations include Françoise Hardy, Jane Birkin, Stéphane Audran, Brigitte Bardot, Kate Moss, and also the French New Wave and the films of Jean-Luc Godard and Claude Chabrol”Indicates the platform’s press release.
This change wasn’t limited to Emily’s wardrobe, it’s far from her. “Lily Collins’ hairdresser, Mike Desir, has created nine different hairstyles for Emily this season, in four variations. He was influenced by Brigitte Bardot and Audrey Hepburn, but also wanted to update the look by mixing different styles from each era, such as the ’60s ponytail and the more messy ’90s style.”Added Netflix.
