Stunning footage has been revealed showing P&O Cruises’ new ship Arvia arriving in Southampton ahead of her maiden voyage – and her glittering interior.

In terms of dining, there are 12 restaurants, joined by an additional eight casual dining options.

One – “Green & Co Featuring Mizuhana” – has a plant-based and seafood menu “served in a chic and elegant environment.”

Mizuhana is a brand new sushi bar created by P&O Cruises for Arvia and housed in Green & Co. Here, the line says, “guests can see experienced chefs at work while enjoying ocean views,” and “expert advice on meal pairings and sparkling cocktails complete the experience.”

Also on board is the 6th Street Diner, “casual by day with a sophisticated vibe by night, with retro seating, mood lighting and a jukebox serving up all-American flavors, including fried chicken and waffles with bourbon mascarpone.”

P&O Cruises’ “Distinctive Signature Restaurants”, Epicurean, Sindhu, The Glass House, The Keel & Cow and The Olive Grove, all spread across the fleet, are also represented on Arvia.

P&O Cruises’ Oasis Spa offering, meanwhile, is in place and correct, but offers new treatments exclusive to Arvia – two suites for couples, each with a hammam and steam room, a therapeutic cooling room, a “restorative” salt sauna and a ” rejuvenating” Kneipp circuit, a pebble foot massage combined with hot and cold water treatments to stimulate circulation and promote vitality.

Mission Control is also exclusive to P&O Cruises. This “unique immersive experience” combines a multimedia simulation escape game and a live-action story “to create an exciting underwater challenge.”

Also new to Arvia is the stage musical Greatest Days – The Official Take That Musical, an adaptation of the critically acclaimed West End musical The Band, featuring the songs of Take That and a story by Olivier award-winning writer Tim Firth.

Arvia also includes WaveLength, a new interactive game show that will be played virtually by host and game show host Ben Shephard.
