One wrote on social media, “There’s something fun about Western Michigan (3-7) vs. Central Michigan (4-6) in a blizzard on a Wednesday night,” while another added, “This game is between Central Michigan and West Michigan nothing short of incredible.’

Fans on social media loved the Western Michigan vs. Central Michigan game
The rivalry game continued to be low scoring in the early parts of the game, as you would expect from a game played in such difficult conditions.
The two teams were tied 7-7 at halftime, with both teams scoring on massive 50-yard touchdowns, and after another scoreless half, the Western Michigan Broncos ended up winning 12-10 over their Central Michigan rival Chippewas .
The results bring both teams’ record for the season to 4-7.
The Western Michigan social media team even had some fun thanks to the weather, commenting on a clip of the Miami (OH)-northern Illinois game being played in blizzards, saying, “It’s not snow… it’s snow.”

As one fan at the Buffalo Bills’ NFL game pointed out, this weekend could be affected by snow.
The post read: “This Central Michigan game on espnu is insane. Precursor to this weekend’s Buffalo game.”
Hundreds of feet of snow is expected this week in western New York, where the Bills will host the Cleveland Browns at a Sunday matinee. Heavy patches of the lake-effect snow will fall between Thursday and Sunday, according to Weather.com forecasters, meaning the field at Highmark Stadium will likely be affected.
Local Fox affiliate in Buffalo described the storm as “potentially historic,” with some forecasters in the area calling for up to two meters.
